Back in the Saddle – Update 30

I just wanted to do one final post about my mad challenge of cycling the equivalent distance of the route from Land’s End to John o’Groats on my exercise bike.

The reason for the post is that I have now received my medal to prove that I did it!  I love the slogan on it.  It says ‘virtually anything is possible’.  It may have taken me half a year longer than I first predicted but by breaking it down into teeny tiny chunks, I got there in the end!

I would once again like to thank everyone for all the support and encouragement you have given me.  It meant so much to me to know that you were all rooting for me.  The supportive messages you sent me really helped to keep me going, so thank you, thank you, thank you.

I would also like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has sponsored me. As I think you know, I did this challenge in aid of BuDS.  I set a target of raising £350. But when I last checked I have now raised a staggering £676.25! I am so incredibly grateful to everyone for their generosity and I know this will really help BuDS to be able to continue the fantastic work that they do to support disabled people across Buckinghamshire, and indeed, across the country too.

Every little contribution helps BuDS to keep supporting the disabled people of Buckinghamshire and beyond.

If you would still like to sponsor me, the page is still open and can be found at: click on this button:
