Give Your Views On New Guidance For People With Down Syndrome

The Government is seeking your views about new guidance on services for people with Down Syndrome. Read on to find out more.

The Down Syndrome Act 2022 allows the Department to issue guidance for the NHS, councils, schools and others about services for people with Downs Syndrome.  As required by the Act, the Department of Health is now asking service providers, professionals, and people with Downs Syndrome about what should be included in the new guidance. This is called a ‘call for evidence’. The call for evidence period ends on 11.45 pm on 8th November 2022.

It is very important that people with Down Syndrome, or who work in the aforementioned sectors, respond to this call for evidence. If this applies to you, please see the links below.
