The UK medicines regulator has approved a new medicine to help people who catch the Covid-19 virus and are at risk of being very ill. The medicine, called Molnupiravir, attacks the virus itself and helps stop the virus spreading inside the body. This medicine is potentially really good news for people who are at risk of being critically ill with Covid-19.

Back in the Saddle – Update 13
Slowly but surely I am pedaling on towards my goal of cycling from Lands End to John o’Groats on my trusty exercise bike. I’ve now made it as far as Stratford-upon-Avon. Thankfully, I survived the M40 and am now back onto A roads up to Coventry.
Somehow I think I might need to adjust my end date. I’m 3/4 of the way through my original time scale but not quite 40% through the journey. Hmmmm… maybe 24th July 2022 might be more realistic? Hopefully my daily distances will start to pick up at some point soon.
At least I’m still going though.
