BuDS’ Fair4All Events project is helping to make Towersey Festival more accessible in a number of ways. Read on to learn more.

Support from BuDS
Disabled and Covid-Careful viewing areas: BuDS will be staffing viewing areas for disabled people in Venue 65 and The Big Club. This is to ensure that disabled people are able to enjoy the live music with the rest of the festival goers.
Emergency Quiet Space: BuDS will providing and staffing an emergency quiet space for children or adults who urgently need a safe space to calm down, for example autistic or learning disabled people. The quiet space will be located near group of trees to the bottom left of the Market Square. There will be a range of sensory aids, ear defenders, etc, and the BuDS volunteers will be experienced and understanding.
For Covid safety, entry to the quiet space will be strictly limited and adults (unless exempt) will be expected to wear face coverings. The space will be ventilated and air quality will be regularly monitored.
Access Information Point: BuDS volunteers will be proving and staffing the Access Information Point for Towersey Festival. Here we can help with any questions or problems, or simply tell you a little about ourselves! The Access Information Point will be located in the Market Square.
Accessible Campsite: BuDS volunteers will be based around the accessible campsite to help with all your camping needs. If you need help while camping as a disabled person, just ask us!
Roving Help: BuDS volunteers will be out and about across the site during Towersey Festival. If you need any help as a disabled person, just stop them and ask. Or you can go to the information point in the Market Square and ask any of the volunteers there. We are here to help!
Car Parking Support: Our expert volunteers will be at the entrance to the site, helping direct you to the disabled parking, and answering and questions you may have.
